Chien-Yuan (Ted) Chang is a PhD graduate student in Physics. His main research currently focuses on optical nonlinear properties of single photon emitter such as quantum dot and quantum wires. He also works on optical reservoir computing and nonlinear dynamics of semiconductor lasers. He graduated from National Taiwan University in Electronic Engineering department and minored in Physics department. He joined Taiwanese military coastal guard for one year and later worked as research assistant in Physics institute, Academia Sinica before came to US in Georgia Institute of Technology. He got his master degree in Physics from Georgia Tech working on Atomic Force Microscopy and Ion trap quantum computing with surface ion trap.
